Alternatives
Power capacity
Avoron's four base Power slots hold Reprisal, Grappling Hook, Flare, and Radiance. Retribution is a deliberate defensive swap rather than a fifth Power.
No Summer?
Use Ninh for Rock Shield and Persistence. Rock Shield rewards Avoron's fast melee attacks, while Persistence increases Power Area.
No Krom?
Use Ninh for a steadier close-range Power package, or Winter for Frost Ring and Icebound control. You lose Grappling Hook's grouping.
Defensive Power swap
Replace Flare with Retribution when recovery from incoming hits matters more than another chance-based projectile. Keep Radiance for sustained damage and coverage.
Aggressive Attack package
Choose Rampaging Attack and Bloodlust instead of Merciful Attack and Piety when you can give up Weakened and healing support for more Attack Speed.
Reactive gear coverage
Dark Revenge is a useful special gear affix when available: attacks against Avoron can call Black Lightning on the attacker. It complements the build but is not required for the core Power engine.
