Mort

Trigger-carrying Sickles

  • Sickles of Mort
  • Vampirism

Sickles of Mort explicitly apply Kront's Attack triggers, creating additional chances for Godrage's Meteors away from the axe itself.

Krom

Rupture + attack speed

Chains and Shurikens spread Ruptured so Bloodlust can add Attack Speed, while War Pact covers barriers and bosses.

Blessing Priorities

Core

4 blessings

Split-second Attack

Leigong · Attack

Your Attacks become stronger and have a chance to trigger an additional attack.

Build role: Fills the Attack slot with a chance to trigger an additional attack, producing more Godrage and Strike checks.

Sickles of Mort

Mort · Strike

Every few Attack hits, shoot out sickles. They deal damage equal to a percentage of your Attack Damage and apply your Attack triggers.

Build role: The defining blessing synergy: Sickles deal a percentage of Attack Damage and explicitly apply Attack triggers, including Godrage.

Thunderstruck

Leigong · Passive

After dashing, there is a chance you gain a status that gives you increased Attack chance triggers on your next Attack .

Build role: Dashing can empower the next Attack's chance triggers, directly supporting the Meteor-centered plan.

Bloodlust

Krom · Passive

You gain attack speed for each ruptured enemy.

Build role: Adds Attack Speed for each Ruptured enemy created by Chains and Shurikens.

High Priority

6 blessings

Chains of War

Krom · Strike

Your Attack hits have a chance to create a chain that rotates around you for a limited time, damaging, rupturing and knocking back enemies.

Build role: Attack hits can create long-lived chains that damage, Rupture, knock back, and feed Bloodlust.

Shurikens

Krom · Strike

Your Attack hits shoot out rupturing shurikens for each enemy hit.

Build role: Converts each enemy caught by Kront's wide attacks into three rupturing projectiles, extending coverage beyond melee range.

Tornadoes

Leigong · Strike

Your Attack hits have a chance to create tornadoes that pull in and damage enemies.

Build role: Adds pull and persistent Strike damage from Attack hits, keeping enemies near Kront's combo and falling Meteors.

Vampirism

Mort · Passive

Legend

Whenever you hit enemies, restore life.

Build role: Restores Life whenever Kront hits enemies, matching a build designed to produce many direct and Sickles hits.

War Pact

Krom · Passive

You deal more damage to enemy barriers and bosses.

Build role: Adds focused damage against barriers and bosses where proc-heavy wave clear needs extra help.

Urgency

Leigong · Passive

Your cooldowns are reduced.

Build role: Reduces cooldowns for Tornadoes and other cooldown-limited trigger effects.

Situational

2 blessings

Soulstealers

Mort · Strike

Your Attack hits have a chance to spawn phantoms. Any enemies they pass through become Cursed and lose a percentage of their current life.

Build role: Use in the fourth Strike slot when current-Life damage and Cursed coverage are more useful than another direct-damage proc.

God of War

Krom · Passive

Legend

All damage you deal and take is increased.

Build role: Adds major damage only after Armor, Life, and recovery can absorb its increased incoming damage.

Gear Priorities

primary

  • Attack Speed

More attacks mean more Godrage, Split-second Attack, Sickles, Tornadoes, Chains, and Shuriken trigger opportunities.

  • Attack Damage

Scales Kront's basic combo and the percentage of Attack Damage dealt by Sickles of Mort.

secondary

  • Luck

Improves the chance-based blessing engine around Split-second Attack, Thunderstruck, Tornadoes, and Chains.

  • Attack Area

Hits more enemies per swing, increasing Shuriken output and keeping Kront's three-part combo effective in dense waves.

  • Cooldown Reduction

Improves cooldown-limited Strikes such as Tornadoes and helps the proc package cycle consistently.

useful

  • Armor

Offsets Recklessness and the close-range exposure required to keep attack triggers flowing.

  • Life

Raises Kront's margin for error and improves the regeneration supplied by Behemoth Heart.

Practical build advice

Watch out for

  • Meteor output is chance-based

Godrage does not expose a fixed trigger rate in the extracted item record, so individual attack chains can produce uneven Meteor coverage.

  • Aggressive contact damage

Recklessness and repeated melee attacks increase the punishment when Kront is caught without Enrage movement or recovery.

  • Boss trigger uptime

Mobile or dangerous bosses can interrupt Kront's attack chains and reduce the number of chances to call Meteors or launch Sickles.

What helps

  • Godrage

Provides the Meteor trigger that makes the guide distinct from a normal Attack and Strike build.

  • Attack Speed

Creates more trigger attempts in every safe attack window and shortens the recovery between Kront's combo hits.

  • Vampirism

Converts the build's high hit frequency into recovery during sustained close-range combat.

  • Armor

Offsets Recklessness and preserves enough Life for Behemoth Heart and Vampirism to stabilize the fight.

  • War Pact

Adds direct barrier and boss damage when shorter attack windows limit proc volume.

Talent Tree

Alternatives

How to play

Dash to prime Thunderstruck, then commit to Kront's three-part combo. Sickles carry Attack triggers through the pack while Tornadoes and Chains keep targets inside the Meteor zone.

Strike capacity

Kront has four base Strike slots. Prioritize Sickles first, then add Chains, Tornadoes, and Shurikens; Soulstealers is a replacement when current-Life damage matters more.

No Godrage?

Use The Choppa for its 28% Stun chance and keep the attack-trigger shell, but the guide loses its Meteor identity and should be treated as a fallback.

Safer version

Delay Recklessness when defenses are weak, prioritize Vampirism, and equip Turtle Island or another Heavy torso with Armor and Life.

No Mort?

Use Ninh for Earth Spike and Crushing Attack. You lose Sickles applying Attack triggers and Vampirism, but gain more reliable Stun control.

No Krom?

Use Winter for Ice Shards and control passives. The build loses Bloodlust and Rupture coverage but gains Freeze and safer wave control.
